Students will design and develop a cast of characters as well as the world they inhabit to discover the possibilities of one of the most flexible mediums available to any artist. This dual focus course will cover artistic and storytelling tools: panel composition, color palettes, and figure drawing, as well as plot structure, pacing, and narrative devices.

Please Note: Every artist (and writer for that matter) possesses a distinct style. In line with this, this course will encourage artists to follow their specific strengths, and will not focus heavily on emulating any specific genre or style of drawing.
